An exhibition of paintings showing of some of Lancashire's most captivating countryside is currently taking place.

Brothers Jack and Bill Lacey originally from Blackburn are exhibiting their work at Sunnyhurst Wood visitor centre.

The beautiful landscape paintings feature scenes from Sunnyhurst Wood, the Ribble Valley, the Lake District and many other places both in Britain and abroad.

They reflect the brothers' love of the countryside and appreciation of the natural world.

The exhibition runs until June 7 and is open Thursday to Sunday and Bank Holiday Monday, 1 - 4.30pm.

Sunnyhurst Wood is a wonderful place to visit , but is especially beautiful in May, when the Bluebells are out.
